We offer boarding services for any of our patients! Our spacious cages range from 21" x 33.5" to a full sized 21" x 67". Reservations are required for boarding, as our boarding space is limited. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Cats may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. For the safety of all cats in our charge, we require our patients to be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Feline Leukemia vaccinations. In the absence of written or oral verification from previous veterinarian of vaccinations and if your pet is not seriously ill, the Cat Hospital will provide any needed vaccinations at the prevailing vaccination rate. Additionally, we inspect all cats for fleas upon arrival. If fleas are present, a CAPSTAR tablet will be given at the expense of the owner, killing all living fleas for 24 hours. Flea preventative will be recommended to you at time of pick up.
To make your cat’s stay with us more pleasant, we encourage you to bring in his/her toys, bedding, or anything that will remind them of home. Patients without bedding will be provided with a kitty igloo and soft blanket for maximum comfort while boarding.We provide regular maintenance diet unless your cat is on a special prescription diet, but it is recommended that you also bring food for your pet to keep consistency of diet while you are away. If your pet is on any medication, we recommend that you bring it in with you and we will make every effort to administer the medicine as close as possible to the schedule they are used to.
Before your cat is allowed to stay with us, we will ask you to fill out and sign a boarding check-in form. To make the check in process easier, we made this form available on our website. Once you fill it out, just bring the form with you when you drop off your pet for boarding. Please note that this form does not constitute a reservation. If you plan to leave your pet at our ‘hotel,’ please make sure you call us well ahead of time.
